Paulino do Rego Barros, Jr.
Group Managing Director, Asia-Pacific
Paulino Barros was appointed to lead the Company’s Asia-Pacific business in July 2017, relocating from Atlanta.
Previously, Paulino led the Company’s U.S. Information Solutions (USIS) business, which includes U.S.-based services that provide businesses with consumer and commercial information and insights related to areas of risk management, identity and fraud, marketing and a variety of industry-specific solutions.
Prior to that, Paulino led the Company’s International unit with responsibility for Latin America, Europe, Asia and Canada, and also led expansion efforts into other countries.
Before joining Equifax in April 2010, he was the founder and president of PB&C – Global Investments (LLC), an international consulting and investment firm.
Earlier, Paulino was the president of Global Operations for AT&T, which has a presence in 135 countries. He held several executive leadership positions at the BellSouth Corporation before it was acquired by AT&T in 2006, including chief product officer, president of BellSouth Latin America, regional vice president of Latin America, as well as chief planning and operations officer.
Paulino also served at Motorola, Inc., as corporate vice president and general manager – Latin America Group and was corporate vice president and general manager of Market Operations – Americas. He also held a variety of positions with The NutraSweet Company as well as with Monsanto Company in the U.S. and Latin America.
Paulino holds degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering from Escola de Engenharia Industrial and Faculdade de Engenharia de São José dos Campos in São Paulo, Brazil, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University, St. Louis.Close
Interim Group Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Mike joined Veda, now Equifax, in March 2015 with an extensive career in financial services, spanning more than 25 years, both in Australia and abroad. Mike’s roles have included time at National Australia Bank, CRO at ANZ (Australia), CEO at GE Money Australia & New Zealand, and CEO of OAMPS Insurance Broking. Mike has knowledge of Comprehensive Credit Reporting from international markets and has been one of the original champions of CCR in the Australian market.
Mike has held numerous directorships and chairmanships with Wesfarmers, ANZ and GE. He is a Senior Fellow of Finsia, was a Director of the Women’s Cancer Foundation since 2006 to 2015 and served as a Director of the Australian Finance Conference until 2009 and National Insurance Brokers Association until 2014.Close
Chief Financial Officer
Jason was appointed as Veda’s, now Equifax's CFO in December 2016, relocating from Atlanta, where he had served as Equifax’ Senior Finance Officer (SFO) for the Global Consumer Services (GCS) unit since 2013.
Prior to his current role, Jason led the strategic pricing team at Equifax, supporting both U.S. Information Solutions (USIS) and GCS. Jason joined Equifax in April 2010 after successful careers working in finance and pricing leadership roles at American Express and Earthlink. His background at those companies included international roles in Singapore, Hong Kong and London. Jason holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from The Colorado College.Close
Chief Information Officer, Australia & New Zealand
Ashley joined Veda, now Equifax, in November 2006. He has over 25 years’ technology experience, primarily in the financial services and utilities sectors. Ashley has held various IT management positions, predominantly leading teams who are focussed on improving customer service, system availability and security.
For many years Ashley held the role of General Manager of IT Services for Equifax in Australia. He oversaw the consolidation of data centres, the replacement of core infrastructure, as well as the due diligence and technology integration of numerous acquisitions.
In 2017 Ashley was promoted to the role of CIO for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for leading the technology function for the region.
Ashley has a strong record of building customer-focussed, service-based teams of IT professionals to support the business in achieving its strategic and operational goals, and has significant experience in managing and strengthening key technology supplier relationships.Close
EGM, Data and Analytics and Operations, Australia & New Zealand
Lionel joined Veda, now Equifax, in March 2015 and has over 20 years' experience in financial services in Australia and internationally.
Lionel is responsible for the management and commercialisation of data and analytics for Equifax as well as its operations processes.
Lionel has worked both internationally and domestically at GE UK and GE Taiwan, Barclays UK, Standard Chartered Singapore and National Australia Bank. He has run leading data and analytics business units and served as Chief Risk Officer for GE in various countries, Barclays and National Australia Bank. Lionel has a depth of capability and experience in data strategy and analytics, risk, and operations as well as a strong marketing and commercial proficiency.
Educated in France, Lionel holds a Master of Applied Science (Mathematics), a Computer Science Degree and a Baccalaureate in maths and physics.Close
